Transmigration Design and Re-engineering Transmigration is about starting new self sufficient communities in remote unspoiled sites. Because we can start from scratch, we have the opportunity to plan. It is now possible to genetically engineer the new community to have inherent character (also called genes, properties, elements, components, DNA make-up) to become a commercially viable enterprise. In business process re-engineering, it is far simpler to create a new entity than rectify the faults of an old arthritic company. The new transmigration community has the following basic components.
Migration: a Natural Instinct Migration is a natural instinct of animal and man. Wild birds, animals, fish, man by nature has the migration instinct to be in the right place at the right time to survive. Filipinos, in search for greener pastures immigrate. They leave the country and seek economic refuge in a foreign land. They blend nicely in the foreign environment and end up with a comfortable life. BUT -- What happens to the majority of common Filipinos who are unable to migrate? The Transmigration Idea In most cases, they are not aware of what they can be as they get preoccupied with economic survival. "In the forest, they do not see the trees". The transmigration idea opens new economic horizon. New self sufficient communities in the countryside will emerge. The Filipinos residing abroad have seen technologies, new way of thinking that can transform the Philippine to life. They have an extended obligation beyond the niceties of life to contribute their vision and wisdom in the transmigration projects. Many multi-national companies see the opportunities in Philippine natural resources. However, their mission is most always PROFIT. |
