LTC means Low Temperature Carbonization. It is the process of cooking lignite coal to separate the carbon material and the volatile matter. The process will produce fertilizer, bitumen, high grade coal and kerosene. This technology is patterned after the Lurgi process and is adopted to smaller volume by the company who will supply the technology and become a joint venture partner. Test conducted determined that the Isabela Lignite Coal is very suitable for LTC process. |
