is another gold area in Mindanao. There is a new discovery of a primary gold vein by Levy
Toquero and his geologic crew in 1997. Levy is a co-author of the Philippine
Transmigration Project. Shown here is the exposure of the Agusan Bonanza Gold and
copper vein. (Note: Levy with Adelaida Valdoz is also responsible for the Isabela Coal Discover coal deposit and the Peace Pact
Agreements with the Cordillera Higlanders and many
other unreleased discoveries.)
The Agusan mining claim consist of 3,000 hectares traversed by
all weather mountain creeks. A mining school is envisioned on top of the Agusan Bonanza
deposit. A model Querpo for Mindanao. Querpo is a small gold mining unit owned by local
miners assisted with geology, mining and safety by the mining school. Deeper deposits and
lower grades not suitable for Querpo operation will be developed into major open-pit and
underground operation which will be the main industry for a transmigration.
