Lake Mainit (see Map) is a suitable site for SeaPen Auquaculture operation. This operation is similar to the Casiguran Sound Operation. The Agusan River is also navigable and used during the logging era to transport cut logs. Even today, the Agusan River is use for transport. This is a suitable for a WaterBus operation for passengers and for BoatTrain operation for bulk Agricultural transport. The key, however, is the production of agricultural, forestry and mineral products to justify the volume of cargo for the BoatTrain and WaterBus Operation. The transmigration projects will provide this production. |
